Arts Camp with First Baptist Jackson

We saw 92 kids over the past week at arts camp!! God is so faithful and he is moving in our kids’ hearts! On the second day of camp we talked about being born again and on the third day we learned Paul’s story. After hearing Paul’s conversion story, everyone was still gathered around on the floor and one of our 5th grade boys raised his hand in front of everyone and asked, “When Saul was blinded and then God made him able to see again.. was that him being born again..?” Wow! They ARE listening! They aren’t too young to connect the dots and make the parallel! Don’t underestimate what children can grasp about the gospel! Keep teaching them, keep challenging them, and keep loving them because God wants them to grow to know Him!⁣

These moments were made possible this past week by an incredible team from First Baptist Jackson! They worked overtime to prepare for a week of ministry with our kids and it paid off! They poured out their hearts each day to make sure it was a week filled with Jesus, creativity, and FUN! We are so thankful for you guys at FBJ!
