First Baptist Jackson Team in Marks

Last week, First Baptist Jackson hosted their annual Arts Camp in Marks for our kids. Every year, they surpass our expectations with their thoughtfulness and preparation for every activity. This summer camp is especially impactful for our kids because they are not offered art classes at school. The exposure and the opportunity for a creative outlet are huge for them! This year they made leather belts, pottery, jewelry, and tie-dye shirts and had music classes where they learned how to beat on a drum and strum a guitar.⁣

They loved learning songs, dances, and lessons from the Start the Party VBS Curriculum. At the end of camp, we had a block party on Main Street where the kids performed everything they had learned for their parents!⁣
